Hello, welcome to my academic webpage!

I’m an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Aerospace Engineering department at Cal Poly since Fall 2024. I broadly work in the areas of theoretical and computational mechanics, multiscale modeling, and scientific computing. At Cal Poly, I teach courses related to aerospace structural analysis.

Prior to joining Cal Poly, I was an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Bombay. I obtained my B.Tech./M.Tech. dual degree in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras in 2006, and subsequently obtained my Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from IISc Bangalore in 2012. I was a postdoctoral researcher at Ecole Centrale de Nantes in 2013, and at Caltech from 2013 to 2017.
